Soliloquy is Getting a HUGE Makeover!

by Thomas Griffin on August 9, 2012

Soliloquy is getting a huge makeover. The logo says it all.

I will be the first person to admit that I am not a designer. I really stink at design. I’ve got an eye for content layout and that’s about as good as it gets in the “design” perspective for me.

Thankfully there are a lot of excellent designers out there, one of them being Dave LaTulippe from Spyr Media. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I wanted Spyr Media to handle the branding and redesign of the Soliloquy logo and website. They have a stellar portfolio, and even more impressive is their ability to design stunning stuff in short timeframes.

They developed the new logo and branding strategy for Soliloquy, and I must say that they did an absolutely outstanding job. I would have no hesitations recommending them to anyone.

Why the rebrand? Simple – the previous one stunk. It did nothing to promote the plugin or really identify with what I am trying to do with it. The new logo and icon really signify the sleek, forward moving attitude that I have with Soliloquy. I really do want it to be the best responsive slider plugin for WordPress, and part of that includes an incredible experience before even using it.

I’ve already begun to roll out some of the branding on the demo site, so feel free to check it out there as well while you demo the plugin. The new site will be completely responsive, retina ready and provide an incredible experience for both visitors and members alike.

I’ll be working on the redesign as much as I have time in the next few weeks and hope to release it soon. Along that note, get ready – the Featured Content Addon kicks tail and is coming very, very soon too. 🙂
