The renewal process is not automatic, but you will lose access to updates and support if your license happens to expire. Upgrading Soliloquy is very easy - if your license has the ability to be upgraded, you can upgrade right from your account overview screen by either clicking on the Upgrade link in the header navigation or the Upgrade tab on the page. The table that appears on the page will show available upgrades, and the price difference for upgrading will already be calculated for you based on the license you select.
