How to Delete Your Instagram Platform Data in the Instagram Addon

We offer a number of different ways to delete your Instagram Platform Data from your WordPress site.

Remove the Instagram Plugin

As our Instagram addon, like our Soliloquy plugin, is self-hosted, the easiest way to remove your Instagram Platform Data from your WordPress website is by uninstalling the Instagram addon.

To do this, log in to your WordPress dashboard and go to the Plugins » Installed Plugins page.

You will see the list of currently installed plugins on your site. Active plugins are highlighted with a blue background color and have a link to Deactivate them.

Locate the Soliloquy Gallery Instagram addon and click on the deactivate link.

Now that the plugin is deactivated, to uninstall the Instagram addon, go ahead and click on the ‘Delete’ link below the plugin’s name.

WordPress will now ask you to confirm that you want to delete the plugin and its data. You can simply click the ‘OK’ button to continue.

WordPress will now safely remove the addon from your web server. As part of this uninstall routine, all Instagram Platform Data will be automatically removed.

That’s all, you have successfully uninstalled the Instagram addon from your WordPress site and removed all Instagram Platform Data.

Delete From Within The Plugin

If you want to keep the Instagram addon active but wish to delete all of your Instagram platform data, you can simply use our built in feature. To do this:

Go to Soliloquy » Settings » Instagram

Click the button that says “Click Here to Delete All Instagram Data”

That’s it! You have now removed all instagram platform data from your website.
